Web Development Bootcamp for Kids : From Zero to Hero

Course Description

Does your child love games, apps, or websites and wonder how they’re made? This fun, beginner-friendly bootcamp introduces young learners (ages 10–16) to the magic of web development no prior experience needed! Through hands-on projects, colorful visuals, and gamified learning, kids will build their own web pages, create interactive games, and even launch a personal website all while developing logic, creativity, and problem-solving skills that last a lifetime.

Why Learn Web Development at a Young Age?
Coding is the new literacy. By learning how the web works, kids gain confidence in technology, not just as users but as creators. Web development teaches structured thinking, patience, and digital expression, opening doors to future opportunities in tech, design, and innovation. Plus, it’s incredibly rewarding to say, “I built this!”

What Your Child Will Learn:

  • Understand how the internet and websites work (in simple, visual terms)
  • Write real code using HTML (structure), CSS (style), and JavaScript (interactivity)
  • Build fun projects: a personal portfolio, animated greeting card, quiz game, and pixel art canvas
  • Use beginner-friendly tools like Replit and Glitch no complex setup required
  • Learn core programming concepts: loops, conditionals, variables, and events through games and stories
  • Customize designs with colors, fonts, animations, and emojis
  • Publish their first website online and share it with family and friends
  • Practice debugging like a pro (“Why isn’t my button working?”)
  • Collaborate safely in a supportive, screen-time-positive environment
  • Develop a growth mindset: “Mistakes help me learn!”

Who this course is for:

  • Kids ages 10–16 with curiosity about how websites and apps work
  • Beginners with zero coding experience
  • Young creators who enjoy Minecraft, Roblox, or digital art
  • Students looking for a fun, screen-based summer or after-school activity
  • Future innovators, designers, or engineers taking their first step

"If your interface can’t be navigated by a farmer on a second-hand smartphone during a power outage, it’s not inclusive. If your system can’t scale during election-day traffic spikes, it’s not ready. We build for Africa first, last, and always." — Uncle Jay
